GREEN, GEORGE - The death of George Green loving husband of Lois (Brown) Green occurred on Friday September 23, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1926 in Saint John he was the son of the late William Hooper Green and Florence (Moore) Green. George was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Merchant Navy. He worked in Sales for Canadian General Electric for 35 years retiring in 1990. Besides his devoted wife Lois he is survived by son William (Bill) Green of Montreal; daughters Beverly Green of Ottawa; Catherine Green (Khaled El Emam) of Ottawa and Judy Green (Paul Levesque) of Saint John; brother Ron Green (Jane) of Oakville, Ontario; sisters Barbara Craft of Hamilton and Lillian Viau (Omer) of Halifax; two grandchildren Hannah and Aiden; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother Bill Green and infant sister Amy Green. By request there will be no visitations or funeral service. Friends and family are invited to a reception at the Reception Centre of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Tuesday September 27, 2005 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Extra Mural Program or to charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. www.fundyfuneralhome.com [Telegraph-Journal]
