Helen E. CHRISTIAN

CHRISTIAN, HELEN E. - Helen E. Christian, in her 90th year, of Hartland passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Tuesday, September 27, 2005. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Hallett) Christian. Helen served for more than 46 years in various nursing capacities around the world with over 20 years being in the Montreal area, as well as overseas duty as a lieutenant nursing sister. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers and their wives; Kenneth and Marion Christian, Howard and Amy Christian, two sisters and their husbands; Ruth (Christian) and Clarence Hendry, Maude (Christian) and Woodford W. Craig, and brother-in-law Eric Bailey. She is survived by one sister Ethel Bailey of Hartland, NB and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. [Telegraph-Journal]
