KNOWLES, MARITA MAE The death of Marita Mae Knowles of Oromocto, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Tuesday, September 27th, 2005. Born on February 9th, 1946 in Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hollie and Katherine (Grant) Stairs. Marita is survived by her husband, Brian of Oromocto, NB; her sons, David of Oromocto, NB, Danny (Colleen) of Rusagonis, NB and Troy (Ann) of Miramichi, NB; her granddaughter, Jordan; her sisters, Joan Bradley (Garnet) and Linda Christie (Edwin) both of Temperance Vale, NB, Connie Billings (Adrian) of Fredericton, NB and Gayla Killiam (Lee) of Sussex, NB; her brothers, Winston Stairs of Temperance Vale, NB, Lloyd Stairs of Alberta and Ryan Stairs of Ontario; her sisters-in-law, Wanda Ellis, Darlene Welchel (Ross) and Debbie Henry (Jim) all of Ontario, Beryl Thomas of British Columbia and Diane Ellis (Stephen) of Bathurst, NB; brothers-in-law, Preston Knowles (Elaine), Harry Knowles (Kim) and Laurie Knowles (Dora Mae) all of Bathurst, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 30th, 2005 from the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2005 from the Oromocto United Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Margie Patterson officiating. Interment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery following the service.
