Mrs. Evelyn M. Dickson 1927-2005 Miramichi, NB - Mrs. Evelyn Mary Dickson, widow of the late James Dickson, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of Duke Street, passed away at her residence on Friday, September 30, 2005, at the age of 78. Born in Nelson-Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Gertrude (Robichaud) Hanley. She was a homemaker; a former employee of Stephens Grocery as well as the Mid Way Drive Inn Theatre. She was Roman Catholic by Faith. She is survived by one daughter, Norma Jean Duncan (Leo), of Miramichi; two sons, Carter Dickson (Bernadette) and Andrew Dickson, all of Miramichi; four sisters, Donna Gaylor (Russ) of Ontario, Cora Forczig (John) of Ontario, Angela Moser (Don) of Nova Scotia and Vera Waye, of Miramichi; three brothers, Frank Hanley (Ruby), of Ontario, Karl Hanley, of Moncton, and Roy Hanley (Dorothy), of Nelson-Miramichi; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Donna Dickson; one sister, Yvonne Malone; two brothers, William and Kenneth Hanley. Visiting will be held from Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., on Sunday evening only from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, October 3, 2005, at 11am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
