Roger Graham Bower July 03, 1947 - September 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) BOWER, Roger Graham - 58, Hammonds Plains, passed away September 22, 2005, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Shelburne, he was a son of the late Eldridge and Jerusha (Brent) Bower. Roger was a self-employed carpet layer who subcontracted for Wacky Wheatleys for several years. He enjoyed many interests including fishing, woodworking including many personal boat projects, boating, gardening, collecting, and spending time at the cottage in Martins Point. Surviving are daughters, Lesley (Chuck), Angela (Shad), and Alison (James); his best friend and companion, Debbie, and her children, Deanne (Andrew), Jason (Nikki), and Crystal (Dan). He will be sadly missed by his dog, Shianne, as well as his grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua, Dante, Darius, Anthony, and Daniel. He was a great-uncle to Justin and Emma. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Carl (Shirley), Rose (Ken), Marjorie (David), Barb (Danny), John, and Moe (Vic), as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra (O'Hearn); brothers, Everett "Chuck", Robert, and one in infancy. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., from where funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial to follow in Oakridge Memory Gardens.
