Alan Thomson Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Mr. Alan Thomson, beloved husband of Marion for fifty-eight years, passed away suddenly September 27, 2005 at the age of 83. Besides his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his sons Bruce and Debbie and Alan and Karen. Born in Lethbridge, Alan served overseas as a commissioned officer as a wireless airgunner in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War Two. He retired from Molson Breweries following thirty-eight years service. He enjoyed golfing and curling and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. A Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church (3704 - 37th Street SW) on Monday, October 3, 2005 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Murdo Marple officiating. Graveside service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
