McNAMARA, Bernice Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, September 6th, 2005. Bernice McNamara, age 92, daughter of the late Cecelia Maher and Thomas McNamara. Dear sister of Claire O'Reilly (late Joe) of Toronto, Joe McNamara (late Marion) of Eganville, Jim McNamara (Lila) of Ottawa and predeceased by a brother Emmett and a sister Estelle. Dear sister-in-law of Teresa (late Emmett) and survived by nieces and nephews. Bernice had a teaching career spanning 40 years in Timmins, Donegal and South March. Bernice spent her last years teaching for DND, part of the time being spent in Hemer, Germany; and the remainder at Uplands Air Force Base in Ottawa. Bernice will be missed by many teaching associates and friends. May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face May the rain fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again May God hold you in the palm of His hand Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank), Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to Blessed Sacrament Church, Fourth Ave. at Percy, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Interment St. James Cemetery, Eganville at 3 p.m. In Memoriam donations to St. Patrick's Home would be appreciated.
