Stella Stefania YORKSIE

YORKSIE, Stella Stefania. June 29, 1914 - September 7, 2005. Died peacefully and with dignity following a massive stroke. Wife of the late Daniel Charles, beloved mother of Diane (late John DuBois), Daniel (Terry), Carolyn (Alex Marlowe) and Frances. Grandmother of nine children (one predeceased), and great-grandmother of seventeen children. She was a kind, caring, compassionate and supportive mother whose self-sacrifice and nurturing is deeply appreciated by all her children. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her ability to make the best of everything, her willingness to always help others, and for her smile and that special twinkle in her eyes. Resting at: Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 10 at 9:45 a.m. in St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2388 Iberville, Montreal, thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, September 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 9 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Panachyda Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the parlor.
