Diana KANE

DIABO, Diana (nee Kane). 1929-2005. Diana Kawennaiesen Kane Diabo on September 11 completed her journey here on earth with courage and strength leaves us to join her husband Luke, grandson John, parents Annie and John Kane, brothers Donald, Martin and Joey, sister Esther and dear friend Jenny Tarbell. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by her sister Josie, sons Lance (April), Martin (Rheena), grandchildren Jody, Chad, Travis and Luke, great-grandchildren Thea, Tatum, Tonya, Lance, Nikiata:a, Emily Avery, great-great-grandchild and namesake Maya Kawennaiesen. Diana was also special to many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and friends in Kahnawake and Akwesasne. Predeceased by her friend Jack Terrance and deeply cherished by his children. Special thanks to Valerie, Lynn, Rose, Jenny, Dr. Wojack and the staff at Kateri Memorial Hospital for their excellent care, compassion and support. Resting at Poissant & Deer Funeral Home, Old Malone Highway, Kahnawake Quebec from Monday, September 11, 2005 to Wednesday, September 13, 2005.
