TREWHITT, Gertrude Isabel Peacefully at the Carleton Lodge, Ottawa on Monday, September 12, 2005, Gertrude Isabel Trewhitt of Ottawa, formerly of Morrisburg, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late J. W. (Jack) Trewhitt. Dear mother of Eileen Tuckey (John Wood) of Iroquois and Isabel (Michael) Zavadiuk of Kingston. Loving grandmother of Sharron, Garfield and Robert Tuckey, Marilyn and Bill Zavadiuk and five great-grandchildren. Cherished sister of Ethel Empey and George Crites, both of Ingleside and brother-in-law Gerald Caron of Cornwall. Predeceased by sisters Eva Empey, Hattie McDermit, Jessie Williams, Verna Charlebois, and Ida Caron; brothers Percy, Robert, Lloyd, Walter, William, Arnold, Clifford and James Crites; and granddaughter Joanne Amson. Friends will be received at the Parker Funeral Home, 28 Sir James Morris Drive, Morrisburg on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Morrisburg on Friday, September 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Craig Bowers officiating. Interment St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. Memorial donations to a charity of choice gratefully acknowledged.
