DELAHUNT, Gerald Thomas (Former Owner, Bank St. Dairy Queen) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald on Wednesday, September 14, 2005, in his 80th year. Devoted husband of Velma for 59 years. Loving father of Donn, Dale (Cathy), Doris (John Davidson), David (Susan), Delta (Ray Summers), Dixie (Bruce Ball), Dwight (Anne Gagnier), Derry (David Cullwick) and Danny. Predeceased by his daughter Darlene. Cherished grandfather of Dallas, Dale, Kristie, Gayle, Bryan, Kristine, Michael, Dixie, Faye, Paul, Cindie, Tammy, Todd, Kyle, Derek, Tabitha, Ryan, Laurie, and Danny and of 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Vera Findlay and brother-in-law Everette Findlay. Gerald will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends. A visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion), on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service following in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
