HANSEN, Carl Egon After a lengthy illness, in hospital on Tuesday, September 13, 2005, Carl Hansen of Vars in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Valborg (Jensen). Loving father of Rob (Veronica Sherwood) of Halifax and Andrew of Vars. Brother of Holger, Kaj, Svendaage, Knuderik all of Denmark and the late Paul (Sheila) of Russell. Uncle to Jeffrey, Jennifer (Terry Kinsella) and Joanne. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday. Service to follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bearbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be most appreciated.
