Catherine ELLIS

ELLIS, Catherine. 1956-2005. It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing, much too soon, of a wonderful daughter and sister. Our cherished Cathy lost her long and courageous battle with cancer on August 27 in Calgary. Cathy had a sharp wit and a great sense of humour and was a fiercely loyal long-time employee of C.P.Rail. She leaves to mourn, loving parents, Bill and Joan (Carter), grieving brothers Tommy and Christopher, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cathy will be sadly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at St David's Church, (684-8434) 12450 Gascon St., Pierrefonds, on Saturday, September 17 at 2:45 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Cathy's honour to the Chinook Hospice, 1261 Glenmore Trail S.W. Calgary, Alberta, T2V 4Y8. "Looking back with memories upon the path she trod."
