ALLEN, Dorothy Gladys (nee Boham) Peacefully, Monday, September 12, 2005. Dorothy Allen, age 93. Beloved wife of the late Frank Lorne Allen. Loving mother of Douglas (Marilyn) and Bruce (Doryss). Proud grandmother of Kevin, Wendy (Charles "Chuck" Yates), Melissa and Justin and great-grandmother of Kaitlyn and Patrick. Daughter of the late John and Nellie Boham. Dear sister of Pete (Pat) and predeceased by 11 siblings. Sister-in-law of Bob Cook. All who knew her felt her warmth, humanity and Christian love. The family would like to thank the staff at Longfields Manor for their kindness and generosity. A Service in Memory of Dorothy will be held Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Manotick United Church at 1 p.m. In Memoriam donations to Manotick United Church appreciated.
