DEROUIN, J.L.A. (Al) Born July 7, 1922 in Ottawa, Ontario. Loving husband and soul mate of Edith (nee Flegel), passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2005, as the result of a massive stroke on September 10th. Many thanks to the staff of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for their compassionate care. Predeceased by his brother Lloyd and sister Jean. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Edith, his son Rick (Marlene) and daughter Connie Hicks (Emmett). Dear grandfather of Nancy (Mark), Mike (Kaz), Eric, David, Erin, Sean and Graham, and cherished great grandchildren, Savannah, William, Katie, Jessica and Joey.
