CHARTRAND, Gladys (Marchand) Our dear sweet mother left us on Saturday, September 17, 2005 in her 97th year to join her beloved husband Gerard who predeceased her in 1998. She adored her children John (Marg Gillespie), Denyse, Danielle, Nancy (the late Gilbert Wouters) and Paul, and she cherished her grandchildren, Dawn and the late Christopher, Candace and Jayson, Gustave, Henri and Emma. She led a full life and traveled the world. She will always be remembered for her love of nature, her immense generosity, her wide smile and her insatiable curiosity about life. Thank you to all the staff at St. Viateur for their kindness and amazing care. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street, (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday to St. Catherine's of Siena Church, Metcalfe, for Mass at 1 p.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.
