Emile SALHANY

SALHANY, Emile. Passed away peacefully at home on September 18, 2005 at the age of eighty eight. Beloved husband of Dee Aboud for 65 years. Loving father of Joanne, Ronald, Lynn, Paul and Andrea. Cherished grandfather to Jeffrey, Steven, Susan, Stephanie, Jessica, Jodi, Jennifer, Christopher, Timothy and Kyle, and great grandfather to Tyler and Jessica. Devoted brother to Mary Salhany. Predeceased by his brothers Edward and Elie. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law, and brother-in-law Linda and Louis Taraby and their children Richard, Susan, Terry and Gay. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Stephen Ades and the oncology staff at the Montreal General Hospital, to Dr. Nicole Baird of the Cote des Neiges CLSC and all the nurses aides who provided loving care to the end. A special heartfelt thank you to his dedicated caregiver Joanne Smith for her exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedars Cancer Institute or St. Nicholas Orthodox Church would be gratefully appreciated.
