BEATTIE, Alfred Gregory (Al). Retired C.N.R. Suddenly at the CSSS d'Argenteuil, Lachute, Quebec on Sunday, September 18, 2005 at the age of seventy-eight. Son of the late Allan and Nora Beattie. Beloved husband of Linda Bichard. Dear father of Vernon (Sharon). Dear grandpa of Michael and Jessica (Bryan). Sadly missed by his brothers Roy, Jerry (Iris) and his sisters Evelyn Dore and Edna Patterson. Also survived by his much loved mother-in-law Flora Price Bichard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Predeceased by his daughter Brenda Ann, brothers Gorden (Rita), Eugene, Leo, Vernon and his sister Blanch. Resting at the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 rue Principale, Lachute, PQ. Visitation Wednesday, September 21, from 2-4 and 7-9 p .m. Funeral service Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church, Weir, Quebec. In lieu of flowers donations to the Argenteuil Hospital Foundation, 145 ave. de la Providence, Lachute, Quebec J8H 4C7 would be appreciated by the family.
