Karen Edith BARDSLEY

PETALIK, Karen Edith (nee Bardsley) March 29th, 1943 - September 18th, 2005 Sister of Dawn and Jake. Loving wife of Andy Petalik. Mother of Tanya and Andrew, grandmother to Alex and Connor. Died suddenly in hospital early on Sunday morning at the age of 62. Karen lived every day to the fullest and with no regrets. Friend to many, sheltered harbour to many more. Karen will be sorely missed by those whose lives she influenced and touched on a daily basis. Friends and extended family are invited to say goodbye at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Road, Wakefield on Thursday, September 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, September 23, from 12 noon until service time in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 9/21/2005
