ROSSY, Carolina. Eighty-seven, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005 at her home in Miami Lakes, FL and has joined her late husband, Michael and son Gerald in heaven. Carolina was born in Montreal, Canada to Giuseppe and Carmella (Macchia) Sciscente. She married her childhood sweetheart, Michael in 1938 and during their long and happy marriage, raised a family of seven children finally settling in Miami, FL in 1970. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and friend, Carolina will be remembered for her joie de vivre, devotion to her family and strength of character. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her and whose lives she touched. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Harry Levin), Paul (Celeste Malouf), Richard, Maureen Abraham, Donald (Kimberly), Linda (Brian Deutsch), grandchildren, Lisa (Raul Cardenas), Carl (Jennifer), Leslie Abraham, Connor & Duncan (Deutsch), Nicholas & Ryan (Rossy), and great-grand child, her namesake: Caroline. She is also survived by her sister, Phyl Kenmey of Mississauga, Canada. A private service was held at Vista Memorial Funeral Home, Miami Lakes, FL by Very Reverend Father Alexis Kouri, Dean from Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral.
