BURNETT, Annie Lucretia (Bridgeman) Peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2005, at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with strokes and cancer. Dearly beloved wife and friend of Merrill for almost 59 years. Loving mother of Brian (Gail) and Bonnie Burnett. Beloved grandmother of Vicki Visneskie (James) and Gregory Burnett. Loved great-grandmother of Amy and Jason Visneskie. Dear sister of Jessie McVeigh (the late Foster), Lila Chamberlain (Joseph), Madeline Brouse (Robert Sr.) and Warren Bridgeman (Linda). Predeceased by her parents William and Florence Bridgeman. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Monday, September 26, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank Dr. Philip Townsend and the doctors and staff of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Clinic; the nurses and staff of Bayshore Health Care; also nurses and staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital; the Palliative Care doctors, nurses and staff of the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre.
