LEE, Doreen At the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Saturday, September 24, 2005. Doreen (Harker) Lee of 145 St. Felix Street; age 75 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Alfred G. Lee. Dear mother of James Lee of Toronto, Antony Lee and Catherine Lee-Paul (Maurice) both of Cornwall and Joanne Zahaby (Mohamed) of Aylmer, Quebec. Loving grandmother of Sean, Christopher and Jennifer Paul, Sashya and Yasmeen Zahaby and Brandun Lee. Dear daughter of the late James Harker and the late Annie Brookes. Dear sister and closest friend of Joan Harker of Cornwall. Predeceased by two brothers, James and Thomas Harker and by two sisters, Eileen Grumball and Kathleen (Kit) Ouellette. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in London, England in 1930, she and Alfred moved their family to Canada in the mid-sixties. She was so very proud to be a Canadian. She lived her life to the fullest, making the most of every moment. She loved to travel, to dance, to laugh and most of all to spend time with her beloved family. She was determined to be not just a wife, sister, mother and grandmother to them, but to also be their friend. She touched so many hearts. Her family is profoundly proud of what she accomplished and will hold her in their hearts forever. Cremation. The family will be in attendance at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482) from 1 p.m. Wednesday. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Rev. Michael Hermann of Knox - St. Paul's United Church officiating.
