David Emmerson HARDY

HARDY, David Emmerson. Passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday, September 25 at the age of fifty-nine years, following a lengthy illness faced with unfailing courage and optimism. David, beloved husband of Margaret (Hall), devoted and loving father to Katherine and Caroline. Son of the late Vera Smith and Oiva Hardy, brother of Peter Hardy (deceased) and Bill Keighley (Thunder Bay). A lover of family & friends, inspiring teacher, enthusiastic learner, champion of business creativity and innovation for BMO. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. in Melville Presbyterian Church, 70 Old Kingston Road, Scarborough. Flowers gratefully declined.
