STOCKFISH, Stew Died suddenly at home in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on Friday, September 23, 2005. Beloved husband of Barbara for 54 years. Loving father of Bruce, Carol (Allan), Wendy, Glenn (Pauline) and Garry (Alex), and grandfather of Casey, Ashley, Alana, Braedyn and David. Dear brother of Bud (Isabel), Rona (late Bud), Barbara (Len) and Ron (Diane). Stew grew up in Ottawa and worked for over 40 years in various management positions with Air Canada in Toronto, Montreal and Sault Ste Marie. His vibrant personality and generous spirit touched many during his life. He loved good jokes, good food and festive occasions with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. It was Stews wish to be cremated. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Stone Church, 45 Davenport Road, Toronto on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow where family and friends can visit, share and celebrate Stews long and memorable life. Those unable to attend the service may drop in anytime afterwards until 6:00 p.m. Stew was committed to supporting his daughter Wendy with her disability.
