LEIGHTON, Jean Frances, Peacefully surrounded by her family, at St. Peter's Hospital, on Friday, September 23, 2005, in her 82nd year. Cherished wife of Ken for 62 years. Loving mother of Nancy Kostecki (Dave) and Diane Leighton. Adored grandmother of Peter Kostecki (Megan) and Amanda Hastie (Gabe). Much loved great-grandmother of Christian, Aidan, Benny and Olivia. Jean is predeceased by her son Butchie (Howard John) and her daughter Debbie. Family and friends will be received at CRESMOUNT FUN ERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Special thank you to Dr. Tougas at the Henderson Hospital and Drs. Allaby, Blume and the very carin g staff at the Henderson Rehab Ward 2. Great appreciation to the staff on 2 West at St. Peter's Hospital for their kindness and special care. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
