BLAY, Joan G (nee Burgess), On September 20, 2005 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake -NHS in her 75th year with her loving family at her side. Loving wife to Don for almost 55 years. A caring mother to Nancy Cervantes (Luis) of Scarborough, Kenneth of Thoro ld, Kathryn of St. Catharines and Christopher (Wanda) of St. Catharines. Cherished grandmother/Nana to Andrew, Carolyn, Steven, Nicholas, Zachary and Megan. Survived by her two brothers Ken and John and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to t hank Dr. John Schultz and Dr. Marion Frendo and the staff at the Niagara-on-the-Lake - NHS for their care and compassion. Joan is resting at THE GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 22, 2005 between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life will take place on Firday September 23, 2005 at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Children's Wish Foundation or Help a Child Smile.
