D'ARCY, Ronald Vincent, At the Niagara Health System, St. Catharines General Site on Sunday, September 18, 2005, 80 years of age, after a brief illness. Lovingly remembered by his children, Barbara D'Arcy of Toronto , Joan Brenneman (Dave) of St. Ca tharines, Craig D'Arcy of Edmonton, Kevin D'Arcy of St. Catharines and by his grandchildren Patricia and Cerstin D'Arcy of Edmonton. Predeceased by his wife Verna (1988) and his brother Howard (2004). Ron will also be missed by the gang at the coffee shop. Ron was an employee with the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve. The family will receive friends and relatives at the GEORGE DARTE F UNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Thursday, September 22, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday, September 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Reception will follow the service at the fun eral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
