HAINSTOCK, Robert (Bob) Lee,, Our family is saddened to announce Dad's passing on September 27, 2005, due to his weakened heart. Born in Winnipeg in 1923, he served overseas in WW II as a pilot in the RCAF. In 1946 he joined TCA, now Air Canada. Ove r his 37 year career, he was involved in the airlines passenger air freight and customer relations department, at various locations across Canada. Retiring in 1983, he and his beloved wife Corrine settled in St. Catharines, On. Through his membership in Kiwanis Central Chapter, he was active in the community; driving for Meals on Wheels, the Red Cross, fundraising, and in the club he took on many roles including a term as president. A friend to all, Bob will be missed by those he met at work and during retirement. He is survived by the family he cherished and nurtured; husband of Corrine, his love of 56 years, dad to daughter Judy, son Bob, daughter-in-law Lynda and son-in-law Ron. Grandpa, chauffer and no. 1 fan of his four grandchildren, Mandy, Kyle, Karen and Kevin. In response to his wish to be remembered as you knew him, there will be no visitation and services will be for immediate family only.
