PASKYWEE, Minnie (nee Michalina Czuchnicka), Was born in Alfredowka, Poland, on April 20, 1910 and died on September 18, 2005. She emigrated to Canada in 1929, to Toronto, and eventually moved to St. Catharines in 1932 with her husband and daughter. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas on November 17, 1979 and by her beloved great-granddaughter Andrea Lynn on September 15, 2002. Left to mourn are her daughter Helen Ratkovsky (John), grandsons Ted (Debbie Przepiora), Tim (Cindi Gadomski), Tom (Linda Janzen) and Terry (Shirley Stewart), and great-grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Jason, Andrew, Krystle, Nathan, Lorna, Emily and Natalie. According to her wishes, a family graveside service was conducted at Victoria Lawn Cemetery by Rev. Doug Aikman. Sincere thanks for the loving care she received at Tufford Manor for many years and for a short term at Chateau Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Genetics and Genomic Biology Research Found ation at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, or to Tender Wishes.
