DE VRIES, William (Bill), The Lord in His infinite wisdom called Bill home suddenly on Thursday, September 29, 2005 in Jordan, at the age of 69. Bill currently lived in Bowmanville, Ontario, but planned to move to Jordan in the Niagara Region in Oct ober. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1 Beloved husband of Dinie (nee Hammers ) a week short of 48 years. Dear father of John and Alice De Vries, William and Sharon, Brad and Julie, Ken and Michelle, Carl, M arissa, all of Bowmanville, Evelyn and Gabe Stroobach, Josh and Janie Stroobach, Jordan (predeceased 2003), Jeremy, Jesse, DinaLyn of St. Anns, Dave and Gerry De Vries of Lucknow. Brother of Wally and Bertha De Vries, Jenny and Peter Vermeulen, Jake and Vi De Vries, Pat and Klaas Smit, Betty and Bob Vanderstelt. Brother-in-law of Fenna and Peter (deceased) Vandenheuvel, Riek and Willem (deceased) Wenekamp, Gerrit (deceased) and Diny Hammers, Bert and Lillian Hammers, Henk (deceased) and Jo Hamme rs, Hennie and Jake Bolton, Jane and Herman Kuizebrink, Al and Liz Hammers, Joanne (deceased) and Ray Brickell. Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOT FUNERAL HOME in Bowmanville on Sunday, October 2nd from 1-4 p.m. Then, there will be visitatio n on Monday, October 3rd at Immanuel Orthodox Reformed Church, 2900 Fourth Ave. in Jordan on Monday, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. and the Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment at Lane's Cemetery.
