ALLAART, Gerard, 1920 ~ 2005. Peacefully at Extendicare on ~ October 5, 2005. Beloved husband and partner of the late Nell Allaart-Reijling. Devoted and cherished father of Aneeta, Marion, Hans, Erna and Mark (Sandy), and Opa of Christiaan. Dear bro ther of Greet and Frederik (Mieke) Allaart and brother-in-law of Gesi Allaart in The Netherlands. Predeceased by his parents Johannes and Neeltje Allaart, foster parents Frederick and Jeanne Palm and his brothers Houterman, Jan and Dirk and sister-in -law Tineke. Also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews and dear friends in The Netherlands and in Canada. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Extendicare for their loving and devoted care. Our appreciation to Dr. J. Brook. Cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 53 Church St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall.
