MILLER, LEE - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 9, 2005, Lee Miller passed away peacefully with family at his side. Born in West Saint John, he was the son of the late Urban and Lu (Cogswell) Miller and husband of the late Marion (Clark) Miller. Lee was a veteran of WWII serving for a number of years over seas. He worked for the Port of Saint John as a Long Shoreman retiring in 1984. Lee belonged to I.L.A. local #273 and was also a member of the R.C.L. Carleton Branch #2. Lee is survived by his children Judith, Paul (Cathy), Linda, Nancy (Gary) Cairns, Mark (Sheila), brother Phillip, sister Shirley Hindson, grandchildren Tera (Bob), Clark (Shannon), Chris (Kim), Nicole (Chad), Donald, Sarah, Matthew, Abby, and Ben, great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Meghan, Kristen, Jordan, Jennifer, Kelvin, Hannah, Aunt Mabel Smith, several nieces and nephews and special friend Frances Carr. In addition to his parents and wife Marion, Lee was predeceased by brothers Doug, Gerald and Ronald, and his sister Marie Carr. Resting at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB., (634-1701) with visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will also be held Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 2 o'clock in Fallsview Chapel. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Garden followed by a reception in the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in Lee's memory made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. [Telegraph-Journal]
