Eugenie "Jean" Chauvin (née Diesbourg) November 11, 1911 - October 11, 2005 CHAUVIN, Eugenie "Jean" (nee Diesbourg) 93 years, passed away peacefully at W.R.H.C. Metropolitan Campus on October 11,2005. Formerly of Belle River. Beloved wife of the late Philias Chauvin (1985). Loving mother of Cecile Ouellette (Armand) of Dearborn,Michigan, Anita Kavanagh (Joseph) of Orillia, Dr. Russel Chauvin (Judith) of New Brunswick and Clayton Chauvin (Theresa) of Casco, Michigan. Dear daughter of the late Adeline & George Diesbourg and her late sister Bernadette Barrett. Cherished Grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (253-5225) on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Saturday October 15, 2005 leaving the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to St. Alphonsus Church, 85 Park Street East, for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. A tree will be planted in the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Heritage Forest in memory of Eugenie Chauvin. A dedication service will be held September 24, 2006. All are welcome.
