Ronald Douglas Zong August 02, 1934 - October 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home * Zong……Ronald Douglas, age 71 of Gypsum Mines, Hants County, passed away on Thursday, October 13th, 2005, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on August 2nd, 1934, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late James and Carrie (Hartlin) Zong. He enjoyed life, spending time in his garden, entertaining his family and friends with his witty humour and a genuine love of music. He was a member of St. George’s Presbyterian Church, River John, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He is survived by, His beloved wife: Bette (Phillips) Children: David (Cheryl), Three Mile Plains Wanda (Johnny), Windsor Heather (Kevin), Sweets Corner Sister: Mabel, Berwick Grandchildren: Krista(Adam), Lynn, Jennifer, Rhonda (Matt), Jody (Jody), Raymond (Jenna), Cory, Matt, Josh and Keri Great Grandchildren: Jalen, Tasia Emma, Ben, Madison, and Jaden Numerous nieces and nephews, and a special love for his niece Wendy. He was predeceased by, Sister: Kay And grandson, Mitchell in infancy Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. Friday, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15th, 2005, in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jin Woo Kim officiating. Interment in the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation of Nova Scotia, St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Windsor, or a charity of one’s choice.
