Elizabeth Sifter October 01, 1911 - October 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Sifter (nee Cseh) at the Cedars Villa Extendicare on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the age of 94 years. She will be missed by her sister in Hungary, Margaret; brother-in-law in Calgary, Louis Fazekas; and nephews: Vince (Ethel) Torok, Tony and Michael Fazekas and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1969 and her parents John and Anna Cseh, as well as four sisters and three brothers. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of the cedars Villa Extendicare, Willow area for all of their care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers to be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 819 - 13 Avenue SW, on Sunday, October 16, 2005 @ 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 10:30 AM, with Reverend Doctor Istvan L. Zachfalvy presiding. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church or to the charity of choice.
