SCOTT, Dr. George Ducolon, M.D., C.M., M.R.C.P., F.R.C.P.(C), Graduate Queen's University, School of Medicine 1939. Major (ret'd) Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps, Founder of The Institute of Psychotherapy, Senior Psychiatrist (ret'd) Ontario Region , Dep't of Solicitor General, Penitentiary Service Peacefully, at his eldest daughter's country home while in his 90th year on Monday, March 28, 2005. Loving husband to the predeceased Madeline Janet McNevin, and survived by former wives Emma Jane Gr een Scott and Jacqueline Carpenter. Predeceased by his parents George Edward Scott and Mary Inez Ducolon, his older brother Gerald and his wife Anne, sister Geraldine, her husband Garland Wright and their son David. Dear father of Michael, Jane, Dunc an (Arden), Geoffrey (Amanda), Patrick (Gail), Mary Ellen, George (Sheri) and Eliza-Jane. Proud grandfather to Cynthia, Larry, Andy, Genevieve, Madeline, Alexandria, Emily, Benjamin, Tessa, John, Stephanie, Catherine, Stephen and Andrew, Lynda Roy (R on) and to great grandchildren Colby, Joshua and Cameron. A guiding uncle to Douglas, Peter, Susan, the late David, Heather, Stephen, John and Richard. The true measure of a man in not wealth accumulated, but by the people he has touched over his lif e-time. If he had a stroke of a paintbrush for every person helped by his care, kindness and wisdom, he could paint a mural around the world. He dedicated his life to helping others and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He will be resting at James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., as well as two hours prior to the service. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 1 p.m. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to P.C.C.C.F. (The Hildegarde Centre); St. Luke's Anglican Church, Camden East; or Hospice Lennox & Addington, in Dr. Scott's memory.
