COWAN, David Delos (Los) 22 Years, Sargeant Canadian Provost Corp. WW II Veteran Mr. Cowan also worked for many years at Kingston's K.C.V.I. and will be fondly remembered by many former teachers, staff and students. Peacefully, with his family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, March 26, 2005, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis Cowan. Loving father of Richard (Linda), Ralph (Gabriella), John (Denise), Bernice Matheson (John); step-father of Jeff Jones (Cindi) and Julie Jones. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Shelley, Lisa, Paula, David, Ben, Trisha and Sarah; seven great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Verla Horsefield and Olga Baker (Glenn) and many nieces and nephew s. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 2 p.m., followed by cr emation. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the PCCCF, Hildegarde Day Centre or the PCCCF, Providence Manor would be appreciated by the family.
