PAGE, Eugene Hawley Retired, 31 year Alcan Employee Peacefully, at Extendicare Kingston, with family at his side, on Monday, April 11, 2005. Gene Page, in his 87th year, beloved husband of the late Katy (nee Goodberry). Dear father of Gary and his wi fe Virginia, and Bradley, all of Kingston; Bruce, and David and his wife Carolyn, all of Verona, and Barb Gable and her husband Greg, of Sharbot Lake. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Winnifred Peterson (Ken) of Verona, Helen Rose (Harold) of Elginburg and sister-in-law Doris, of Verona. Predeceased by brothers Bruce and Leslie. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special thank-you to Gene's caregivers at Extendicare fo r their loving care and compassion. In keeping with Gene's wishes, cremation will be followed by a memorial service in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend John Craig officiating. Inurnment at Desert Lake Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Extendicare Therapeutic Gardens, in Mr. Page's memory.
