Sister St. George (Mary Elizabeth Richmond) RHSJ Sister St. George, as she was known in her religious life, died peacefully at St. Joseph's Regional House in Amherstview, Ontario on April 18, 2005, 97 years of age of which 75 years were spent in Reli gious Life. Sister St. George was born in Middleton, New York, the daughter of William Richmond and Jane Cummings. At age 5, Sister went to live in Butte, Montana with her loving grandmother, Johana (Yungs) Cummings. Sister spent 61 years in Montana and never forgot what she referred to as "The Big Sky State of Montana". Sister if predeceased by her parents, her grandmother and her half-brothers William and Arthur and her half-sister Ruth Primka. She is survived by step-brothers Donald, Chester and Bruce Richmond and her step-sister June Robbins as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at St. Joseph's Regional House, 16 Manitou Crescent East, Amherstview on April 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Family Chapel, St. Joseph's Regional House, on April 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Mary's Cemetery.
