LEAHY, Theresa Anne 1930 - 2005 Quietly and peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, Theresa died at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, April 21, 2005. She was 75 years. Beloved wife of Dr. Philip Leahy, for 52 years. Loving mother of Brenda Leahy and Kevin Kieffer, Betty Anne and Dennis Lever, Marilyn Leahy and Tim Best, Frank Leahy and Lisa Bauer-Leahy, Mike and Alex Leahy and Pauly Leahy and Goran Maric. She will be lovingly remembered by her 22 g randchildren, Kellen, Leah and Colleen Kieffer, Kailagh, Gregory and Regan Lever, Corliss, Alyssa and Brittany Best, Maria, Brianna, Jasmine, Philip, Joseph, Basil and Grace Leahy, Ryann, Ethan, Willow and Luke Leahy and Ljiljana and Boshko Maric. Si ster of Rev. Sister Mary Walsh CND, Patrick Walsh and his wife Theresa, Gerald Walsh and his wife Pauline, Monsignor Bernard Walsh, Dennis Walsh and his wife Anne and Richard Walsh and his wife Aline. She was predeceased by her parents Mary (Shannon) and Joseph Walsh and two brothers James and Terrance Walsh. In celebration of Theresa's life, her family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Saturday, April 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and then t o the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Teeswater for visiting on Sunday, April 24, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Teeswater, on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Celebrant w ill be Monsignor Bernard Walsh. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Teeswater. The Parish Prayer service to be held at the funeral home Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. In memory of Theresa, donations to Freeport Health Centre Palliative Care Program or the Carmel of St. Joseph, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
