Walter Gargaro February 24, 1914 - October 16, 2005 8th Army, Royal Artillery, Sgt. Maj. Funeral arrangements by Gordon F Tompkins Funeral Homes (Township Chapel) Veteran WWII - Sgt. Maj. - 8th Army, Royal Artillery, England Peacefully and with dignity on Sunday , October 16, 2005 at the Kingston General Hospital in his 92nd year. Walter Gargaro, predeceased by his beloved wife Annie Hunter and son Michael and several brothers and sisters. Cherished father of Maureen Candy (Mike), Patricia Jackson (Len), Walter (Sharleen) and Christine Foley (Tom). Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Loving brother and best friend of Chrissie and Wille Ramsay. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of Gordon F Tompkins, 435 Davis Drive, on Tuesday, October 18th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, Weller Ave. on Wednesday October 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzhiemer's Society would be greatly appreciated. In the care of Gordon F.
