Verona Armstrong 1907 - 2005 Verona Armstrong of Moncton passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Born in Amherst, NS she was the daughter of the late Percy and Leita (Pickrem) Phelan. She is survived by her sisters, Pauline Nelson and Catherine Cormier (Andrew); brothers, Max Phelan and Douglas Phelan (Renee). Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Herbert T. Armstrong; sisters, Doris, Eileen, and Norma. There is no visitation at the funeral home. Interment and private family committal service will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
