Audrey Rowena Kitley (née Bruton) May 10, 1922 - October 19, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mrs. Audrey Kitley, aged 83 years, passed away at Hogarth Riverview Manor (Willow Grove) on Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Born on May 10, 1922 in Fort William, Ontario, Audrey was raised and educated locally. Audrey married Bert Kitley in June 1951 and he predeceased her in 1989. She worked for a short time as a receptionist for Dr. Park’s office and then as a clerk with Revenue Canada, retiring in 1982. She was a Girl Guide and Brownie leader as well as an area secretary. Audrey was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and the ACW, McKellar Hospital (tuck cart) Ladies Auxiliary Volunteers and a charter member of the Canadian Order of Foresters. Her main interests were her family and the cottage at Dog Lake. Survived by son David (Laura); daughter Ileene (Terry) Lashyn of Edmonton; five grandchildren Melissa, Trevor and Taylor Lashyn and Shannon and Dylan Kitley. Predeceased by her father and mother Lily (1979); husband Bert (1989); sisters Frances Bruton (1990) and Ileene Bruton (1948) and brother Herb Bruton (1989). Funeral services for Mrs. Kitley will be held on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery to follow. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre.
