NEWLANDS, Robert Patterson. Suddenly in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday April 10, 2005, in his 53rd year. Robert "Rob" has gone to join his late wife Karen (nee Ross) whom he mourned terribly since her passing last August. Predeceased by his parents John "Jack" and Anna Newlands, sister Elizabeth Newlands of Kingston. He leaves behind his cousins Linda Mortlock, her partner Scott and Jim Mortlock of Kingston; stepchildren Chris Ross and Mindy Ross; good friend Ron Lawrence all of Calgary. Proud papa to Melissa and Rookie also of Calgary, who were his pride and joy. He is also mourned by long time friends Ian, Phil, Jim, Alfie, Susie, Annie and Pam all of Kingston. A grave side service will be held at 11 a.m. at Wilton Cemetery on Saturday May 7, 2005.
