MATHESON, Bernice "Bernie" (nee Cowan) Former Employee of Startek Kingston Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 15, 2005, at the age of 54 years. Beloved wife and soul mate of John Matheson. Dearest mother of Paula Patrick (Dar rell) and David Bishop. Cherished daughter of Kathleen Charlton (Morris) and the late David Cowan (Phyllis). Much loved grandmother of Joshua, Brett, Zachary and Mariah Patrick. Dear sister of Richard Cowan (Linda), Ralph Cowan (Gabriella) and John C owan (Denise). Dear aunt of Shelly Lee (Mark), Lisa, Ben, Trish and Sarah Cowan and great aunt of Cody, Jessie and Mackenzie Lee. Best pal of Romana Ring (Bunny). Many thanks to All Care nurses Marg, Richard and Jackie, Dr. Stewart, Dr. Voila and Rev erend Gloria Lecompte, as well as many family and friends for their support and guidance over the last few months. A Celebration of Bernie's life will be held in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2) on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and following the service in the reception centre. As expressions of sympathy and in tribute to Bernie's great love of animals, memorial do nations made to the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
