LYON, Mary Jane (nee Ritchie) Went peacefully to be with her Lord, on Saturday, May 14, 2005, in her 83rd year. Mary was predeceased by her parents Adam and Emma (Ferguson) Ritchie, and was the last of the four Ritchie girls. Gone before her are Myrt le (Clarence) Stoness, Bernice (Wilbert) Hunter and Willa (Norm) Ritchie. Mary is survived by and deeply missed by her husband Bruce, of 58 years, their sons Harold (Carole), Mark is Carole's son and his girlfriend Jennifer, Kevin (Carol) and their c hildren Candice and Shaun, Shaun's girlfriend Angela. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. We will miss her witty disposition. The family extends sincere appreciation to Mary's caregivers at Helen Henderson C are Centre (Joyce Faye Terrace), for their loving care and compassion. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the c hapel on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 1:30 p.m., with Reverend Christina Davis officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the interment at the James Reid Reception Centre. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be m ade to the Alzheimer Society or Cataraqui United Church in Mrs. Lyon's memory.
