DeVRIES, Maria Evalijna (nee Voogdt) With dignity and in the arms of her three sons at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Maria has gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and to join her husband Lammert DeVries, who predeceased her in 1984. Greatly missed by Fred DeVries and his wife Julie of Boca Raton, Florida, and their family; Lindsay, Adam, Brittany and Jared; John DeVries and his wife Joan of Stoufville, Ontario and their family: Kristina, Kelly and he r husband Mike, Matthew, Kathryn and Michael; and Bill DeVries and his wife Fiona of Napanee, Ontario and their family: Jacob and Grace. The DeVries family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Physicians and Nursing Staff at KGH, especially the Critical Care Unit on Kidd 7, as well as Kidd 3 for their excellent care, and to Reverend Ed Visser, for his excellent support and soothing words of comfort.
