AMEY, Shirley Ruth Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 496 (Sydenham) Ladies Auxiliary - 45 Years Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, June 6, 2005 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late John G. Amey. Dear mother o f Bev Palmer, Cheryl Thompson, Kim Amey (Frank Grogan) and Angela Voskuilen (Larry). Loving grandmother of Jodie Palmer (Chris Gaffney), Johnny Palmer, Kylie, Matthew and Amanda. Great grandmother of Bobbie-Ann, Brooke-Lyn and Dillon. Sister to Alva, Eunice (Dwaine), Mildred, Gerald and predeceased by her sister Euphemia and her brother Al. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Phyllis Rines and survived by her brother-in-law Russell. Cremation. A family service will be held in the Chapel at Glenhave n Memorial Gardens, 2563 Perth Road, Glenburnie on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 496 from 1-4 p.m. Interment will be held at Wilmer Cemetery at a later date. As an expressions of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
