REID, Francis Edward (Retired Chief of Police Town of Gananoque) Peacefully, at St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville, after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, June 30, 2005. Francis Reid, beloved husband of the late Ann Mullen. Much loved fat her of Terry (Paula), Mike, Kathy Groves (Gary), Christopher (Karen) and Peter. Cherished grandfather of Mallory, Tim, Nicki, Tom, Ashley and Kristi. Dearly missed by special companion Toni Young. Dear brother of John Reid (Kate). Predeceased by one brother Gerald. Survived by sister-in-law Alice Reid. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home, 63 Garden Street, Gananoque on Monday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal St. John's Cemetery.
