Gerald MCKEOWN

Gerald McKeown Gerald McKeown passed away June 3, 2005 after a lengthy illness. He was 85. Gerald was born in Desmond to Anthony and Stella McKeown. He leaves behind his twin brother Gervais, his brothers Cyril and Paul and his sister Margaret Evans. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Gehan and brothers Jim, Ben and Basil. Gerald served in the Air Force from 1941 to 1945. He returned home and married Monica Dillon, his wife of 55 years. They resided in Enterprise. They have a daughter, Lillia n. Gerald was a loving and devoted father, father-in-law to Vaughn Richmond and thoroughly enjoyed being grandfather to James, Matthew and Andrew. Gerald was employed at Alcan Kingston for 30 years where he was a dedicated, hard worker. He enjoyed da ncing and was always proud of his gardens. He attended the Church of the Annunciation Catholic Church and was always willing to offer his help when called upon. Gerald suffered from several illnesses over the last few years of his life but was always patient and seldom complained.
